Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the XT Filters storefront, products, and related services. By browsing, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase products. Additional terms on a product page, checkout, or promotion may apply and control for that offer if they conflict with these general Terms.

Eligibility & account

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and provide accurate information at checkout and in your account. You are responsible for activity under your Customer Account credentials and for keeping contact details current for order notices.

Products & descriptions

We aim for accurate descriptions, images, and specifications of camera lens filters. Optical characteristics (transmission, diffusion strength, coatings) are described in good faith for working photographers; actual results depend on lighting, lens, camera, and technique.

Colors and glass appearance on screen may differ from physical product. We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, update specifications, and limit quantities. If a material error affects your order after purchase, contact support promptly.

Orders & pricing

An order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline orders (including for stock, pricing error, fraud risk, or shipping restrictions). Payment is authorized or captured according to the payment method and Shopify checkout configuration.

Prices are shown in the storefront currency at checkout and may exclude duties or local taxes that appear as separate line items or are collected by carriers. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

Shipping, returns & warranty

Fulfillment, risk of loss in transit, returns eligibility, refunds, and limited warranty are described in our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds policy, and Warranty policy. Those documents form part of your purchase contract for the topics they cover.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the storefront, including by attempting to interfere with security, scrape in a way that degrades service, submit false claims, or use the site for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access for abuse or fraud risk.

Intellectual property

Site content, branding, product names, imagery, and copy are owned by XT or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or exploit site content without prior written permission, except for fair use or rights that cannot be waived under law.

Third-party services

Checkout, payments, login, and hosting rely on Shopify and other providers. Their terms and privacy notices may also apply to those services. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in our warranty policy or required by law, products and the site are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Professional optical filters are tools; you are responsible for safe mounting, cleaning, and use with your camera system. We do not guarantee specific creative results on set.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, XT and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the site or products.

Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited).

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify XT against claims arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the merchant operating this Shopify store, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply where required.

Before filing a formal dispute, contact support so we can try to resolve the issue. Nothing prevents you from bringing a claim in a forum required by mandatory law.

Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted. For material changes affecting existing orders, the terms in effect at purchase generally control for that order unless law requires otherwise.
